National Parks & Monuments

This section contains over 20 years worth of photos from our United States National Parks. They're presented here as an unedited set, complete with a whole lot of photos that I'd never put up on my main photography website. I have them here for a couple of reasons. First, the old photos, aside from being of places I haven't been back to, show an evolution from kid with a camera to someone who (I think) knows what to look for. A few of those old pictures have something in them that makes me see where I would be going with this photography stuff. I also have many new photos that are less than exciting at best, and downright poor at worst. Those are here to remind me and anyone who will listen that just because you take photography seriously, it doesn't mean that every photo from a vacation has to be an amazingly special picture. If you travel somewhere and only end up with artsy pictures without a ton of photos that just show where you've been, I don't think you're taking enough picures. Enjoy your trip, and bring back memories along with those award winners.
